Kuldīr


Kūldīrs are mechanized water coolers and are the only form of sabīl that must be connected to water and electricity. They are by far the most expensive option to purchase and maintain, and must be installed by plumbers. Many kūldīrs are encased in a metal frame to prevent the theft of parts and damage by passing cars. Sabīls located in mosques are often kūldīrs.
